Most Americans would agree that any shooting at a school is a bad thing. Only the sickest among us, mentally, would ever want to see children harmed.
At the same time, however, school shootings are definitely big news — or, at least, they are when the shooter and the situation fits the Left-wing establishment media narrative.
Shooter is white. Probably a “white supremacist” or “white nationalist” (which is the same to the libtard media). Mentally ill. Maybe even a supporter of the NRA or President Donald Trump.
But what happens when a school shooting occurs and the perpetrator doesn’t check all the boxes established by the garbage corporate media? The answer is: That shooting gets ignored because if it isn’t covered in the ‘news,’ then it didn’t happen.
Or something like that.
As reported by Big League Politics, there was, in fact, another school shooting recently, this one in Alabama. But the alleged shooter is a black student who doesn’t at all fit the media’s narrative of such perpetrators.
Yahoo! News reports further that 10 teens were shot during a football game on Friday in Mobile:
Deangelo Parnell, 17, has been arrested and charged with nine counts of attempted murder, Mobile Police Department spokesman Laderrick Dubose told ABC News Saturday morning.
Police Chief Lawrence Battiste did not confirm to reporters that the shooting was the result of an altercation or prior disagreement. However, he criticized young people for “bringing their beefs that they have with each other in their neighborhoods” into a public forum and “putting people in harm’s way.”
“Our children and their families deserve to enjoy a high school football game or any public event without the thought of gun violence,” Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson said in a statement. (Related: School shooting commission deemed to be far more concerned about political correctness.)

As a community, we will heal. As a community, we have to get the guns out of the hands of our youth. -Mayor Sandy Stimpson

Gut-wrenching video footage of football teams running for cover as gunshots rang out was also posted to Twitter.
This is just horrific to watch from Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Football coaches instructing players to take cover, fans hiding under the stands from a suspected shooting. This is a high school football game and should be a place of fun competition for everyone! Not violence! #Mobile pic.twitter.com/MmA1oP9LTW

She’s right, of course.
Reports noted that the alleged shooter, Parnell, turned himself in to police the following morning, around 3:30 a.m. His bond hearing is Monday. Battiste said that video from surveillance cameras near the school made it “very clear” that Parnell was the person doing the shooting.
But although 10 people were wounded in the attack and it occurred at a school sporting event — and the Mobile community is deeply upset about it — “there is no wall-to-wall coverage about it from the fake news” media, Big League Politics reports. “Although news entities have picked up on the story, it is not dominating the headlines and being talked about constantly by the cable news networks.”
That’s because there’s no way to blame the shooting on “racism.” Or “white supremacy.” Or President Trump. Or the National Rifle Association. Or Christians. Or “Right-wing extremists.” Or “white nationalist terrorists.”
“Why are young people bringing this type of violence to public events?” Battiste told reporters at a news conference following the incident. “We’re gonna have to be more aggressive on our end as a city as to how we hold these individuals accountable.”
Perhaps. But the bigger issue is, our country is sick. We have deep-rooted cultural and societal problems when young people become so desperate or deranged they feel like they have to commit an act of mass murder.
Of course, our garbage corporate media won’t cover that. They’re too busy crafting a political narrative.
They are the ones who should be held accountable.
